OpenX is a platform for developing multi-tier enterprise applications that require access to Sybase SQL Server across intranets or the Internet.Languages that are supported include Visual Basic, Java, VBScript, JScript, and C/C++.

OpenX acts as DB provider using Sybase Open Client. It also provides a reduced command set compatible with Sybase PowerDynamo. OpenX is available as a Component Object Model (COM) interface or as a C++ Library.
