Using multi-threaded simultaneous processing, LinkScan can verify up to 40,000 links per hour. Internal or external links can be tested, and links embedded in Adobe PDF files can be scanned. The program can check HTTP, FTP, secure and mailto links. LinkScan can create reports, static site maps and dynamic, expandible site maps using CGI or SSI.

The program is written in Perl, so it can run on NT or any Unix system with Perl 5 installed.
