provides a number of useful Internet functions, including dynamic IP address posting, IPchat, WEBchat, HTTPscan, PC clock synchronizing, and more.
Dynamic IP address posting is very useful for advanced Internet users who want to keep their Web pages updated with their current IP address. You can also use it to update any other file of your choice (for example your .plan or .project file so that your finger server reports your current IP address). If you have multiple ISPs, DynamIP supports up to five different connections.
DynamIP features a POP mail checker, a full-featured WebCam fram capturer and uploader, the ability to chat with other DynamIP users, a PC clock synchronizer, an event-driven program launcher, and an action/event logger. It also features support for NetMeeting (with the ability to call other IPchat participants directly), support for e-mail clients (with autostart upon new mail arrival), HTTPscan (which searches for HTTP servers), WEBchat (which lets anybody who visits your web page using Netscape Navigator send you a real-time message), private chat, DIPS client capability (DIPS is a service that gives uses with a dynamic IP address a permanent URL from which to access their computer), automatic program launching, and the ability to share a chat list.
