lets Web authors see how their pages look in a variety of Web browsers without having to have those browsers installed.
Browserola is a browser emulator that lets you see how your pages would look in different browsers, including Netscape 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0 and Internet Explorer 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0. You can also see how your page looks when displayed in a browser that conforms to the W3C HTML 2.0, 3.0 and 3.2 standards.
Browserola works by analyzing your HTML document and then checking a table of supported tags and attributes for the chosen browser. It eliminates any tags and attributes if they are not supported. It then saves the "emulated" document and allows you to view it using either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. Browserola works best if you have the latest versions of Navigator or Explorer installed.
