is a browser plug-in designed to let you "see" and chat with others who are visiting the same Web sites as you.
When you visit a Web site, there are often tens or hundreds of other users there. NetElement shows you all of the netElement users at the site and lets you chat with them. Now you can discuss current events instead of just reading the news, or even ask other shoppers for recommendations while browsing online bookstores.
The plug-in normally starts automatically when you launch Internet Explorer. To use it, you must first register as a netElement member.
NetElement runs at the bottom of your browser window. When it starts, a Log On screen appears. Select your screen name from the list, enter your password, and click the "Log On" button (alternately, you can set netElement to log on automatically).
The main netElement window contains several tabs and buttons, and a member list (that shows the screen names of all the users in your group). Tabs switch between different views, such as the "Chat View" (where you can see what users in your group are saying) and the "Groups View" (where you can see the groups of netElement members available for you to join).
