copies Web sites to your computer so you can view them off-line at your convenience without having to wait for lengthy downloads.
The program provides a simple interface that allows you to enter the address (URL) of a Web site you would like to cache on your computer, the path and name of the local folder where you want WebSlinky to store the site's files, and a user name and password (if the site requires it).
You can have WebSlinky compare the site's file names and dates with ones you may have previously downloaded so that it can optionally skip, replace, or backup possible duplicates. Additional options can instruct Webslinky to use filters that avoid retrieving certain types of files, to traverse links into the Web site only up to a certain "depth," to retry downloads a certain number of times, and to ignore errors.
