SimpleCheck runs from your system tray, checking multiple e-mail accounts for new messages at an interval of your choosing. Notification is provided either visibly or audibly. SimpleCheck retrieves email header information and provides previews of messages, so you can delete those you don't want prior to downloading them. It even allows you to retrieve entire messages and send responses (but isn't set up to handle file attachments). It can link to your default e-mail client, allowing you to process your messages, or you can set up different e-mail clients for different accounts.
