A closer look at MailControl

MailControl lets you prevent unauthorized applications from sending messages on your behalf. Whenever a program attempts to send e-mail, MailControl pops up with a warning message. You can then block the e-mail, allow it, or create a rule to ensure that future attempts are processed automatically.

The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
