It's an odd horror adventure where you play a german soldier during world war i who has to escape from the horror of the trenches. Which won't be easy.

the gameplay happens in first person, as in a shooter. But instead of facing the different dangers you find along the way your aim is to dodge them at any cost since your character is very emotionally damaged and practically the only thing he can do is run away. This is a very short adventure that lasts only an hour although it will be more than enough to feel your character's fear and to live the horrors of war. In addition the black and white graphics put through an old filter make the setting almost perfect. Der unknowne krieg is a stupendous first-person horror game with an awful setting and gameplay that despite its simplicity is very fun.
