The program lets you copy, download, and play digital audio files. It can also extract tracks from your CD library, and encode them to Windows Media Audio (WMA) or MP3 format.

As your audio collection grows, the program helps you organize your files. It has drag-and-drop features for creating custom playlists. Selections are easily sorted (by artist, title, genre, and more). You can listen to playlists on your desktop PC, or download them to your portable Rio player.

RioPort Audio Manager features an integrated Web browser for finding songs at Rioport.com and other Web sites. The program supports streaming media (audio and video), plug-ins, and it can play back video files (AVI and MOV).
