While recording LPs, for example, to write to a CD, it is important that the maximum level is never exceeded, because digital clipping creates sound disturbances. But if the level is too low, you have to normalize the file, which usually amplifies the noise.

Facing numerous control meters, you cannot control the recording level well enough for an exact level control.

The program enables you to pull down a selectable level control of your sound card mixer if its maximum level is reached (and pull it up if the sound reaches a minimum level), which guarantees an optimal recording level.
