Using computers for too long without breaks has been associated with eye strain, headaches, back and upper body pain, Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), and other conditions.

ScreamSaver flashes on your screen after a preset time (e.g. 30 minutes) to remind you to take a break. You can select "Stretch" from the menu to display a list of exercises along with descriptions of how to perform them. It includes exercises for your eyes, back, neck, shoulders, fingers and wrists, and stress. When you are finished with the exercises simply press the "Reset" button to restart the timer.
