Why not try this free version of the classic board game? You can play against the computer at different difficulty settings that you select. Checkers includes multiple sound effects, including speech.

This game plays the standard rules of checkers. In particular, if you can capture a piece, you must capture it (you can't ignore it and move another piece instead). The game will not let you make a move that breaks these rules, and it does not cheat.

This version includes improved graphics and an "Undo Move" button.

Checkers 1.0

This is a fantastic version of the classic checkers game. A thoughtfully designed environment with excellent graphics is provided in the app. It includes advanced options to customize the game with different difficulty levels and the ability to undo moves. One thing that's missing is the best way to remove the game pieces from the table. The trial version is valid for 15 days.
