Overview

What is Interstate '76?

is a 3D, 1970's-style muscle car combat game in the American Southwest.

In depth

A closer look at Interstate '76

The year is 1976 ... a different 1976. You are Groove Champion, auto-vigilante, and you drive to avenge the death of your sister Jade, who was brutally murdered by known auto-mercenary Antonio Malochio. His plan, is to destroy the U.S. strategic oil reserve and leave the country dry. Jade tried to stop him--and failed. With help from seasoned auto-vigalante Taurus, and grease monkey Skeeter, who can fix just about anything, it's now up to you.

Interstate '76 is brought to life with the same technology developed for the highly acclaimed "Mechwarrior 2". Super-realistic vehicular dynamics like skidding, jumping, acceleration, braking, and collisions are based on actual vehicle physics for true-to-life auto combat scenarios. Interstate '76 features a radar and a rear view mirror to track your enemies, weapons inventory, damage indicator, a 1970's funk soundtrack, an engaging, humorous storyline, and more. Real car damage, including smoke, dents, and bullet holes, are simulated in the game.
