In depth
The object of Waterslide Island is to collect a certain number of bubbles before the timer expires. Bubbles pop out of the water at random parts on the slide, and you need to control both your speed and weight to collect bubbles while being careful not to fall off the slide. You can collect a bubble simply by running over it with your racer. In addition, other racers can steal your bubbles (by hitting you from behind) or knock you off the slide (by hitting you with their arms). You're can steal their bubbles or knock them off the slide as well.
Sit up to slow down and lay down to move faster. You can use turbo to gain speed and your arm to paddle forward, as well as to hit other racers. Don't go into the splash pool until you have all of the required bubbles for the level. If you need to pick up more bubbles, go into a hyperjump to be transported back to an earlier part of the slide. A powerful level editor allows you create custom-built slides and a lively tropical music soundtrack rounds out this aquatic free-for-all.
