It extracts the entire contents of the zip file even if you need only one of the files inside it. Ppzipeg is an application for mac that allows you not only to extract the contents of a zip file but also to see it before you take it out. It's compatible with several different formats, including zip, rar, tar, 7z, lha, arj, iso, and tgz. In addition you can preview the files inside the zip file using the preview app for most documents and itunes for audio files. There are still more. The application is able to read exif headers in images and show mini views of your pictures. In addition you can use this tool to explore iso images and to access directories by entering the corresponding file path.
