Simply this app lets you run any application from the command line including all windows emulator applications in a separate tab. A command prompt powershell powershell wsl ssh and azure cloud shell connector is configured in different tabs. This is one of the newest features compared to the old console: you can work with different tabs and perform several operations simultaneously. Ppwindows terminal was announced in may 2019 as a modern alternative to windows console and part of the code was uploaded to github the same month. Originally released in july 2019 the first preview came out. It was released in may 2020 a year after its official announcement the first stable version of the project since then it has been regularly updated with new features. It is a very useful application for anyone with intermediate or advanced knowledge to use it. Not only does this console offer more features and better features than the old console that has been on windows for decades but it also looks much better thanks to its modern and elegant interface.
