Qownnotes is an open source note taking program with nextcloud and owncloud integration to securely control all files and notes on your device. They are stored on the computer as markdown files without vendor lock or other external software. Using nextcloud users can have notes synchronized on devices. Ppqownnotes is a completely free and customizable tool that takes up very little space on your device and is fully optimized for speed. In addition this program gives you total control over the notes you make even giving you the option to create your own scripts.
qownnotes is written in c++, so it is a well-optimized program for low minimum resource consumption in processor and memory. You can manage your own nextcloud owncloud task list or even use another caldav server to synchronize these tasks. As older versions of the tasks can be recovered from the nextcloud server itself you won't have to worry about backups. This program allows you to have complete control over your notes.
