To create an AVI file, simply open and arrange a series of bitmap images, choose the color depth and the number of frames per second that the resulting AVI file should have, and optionally add sound by selecting a WAV file.

Images can be in BMP, DIB, GIF, RLE, PCX, TIF, TGA and JPG formats, or pasted from the Clipboard. Platypus Animator can also extract still images from AVI files.
