7files is an intuitive file manager whose purpose is to replace Windows Explorer. Once finished, you are greeted by a large window with shortcuts to each local, network, removable and optical drive.

We haven't encountered any unpleasant surprises in our tests as far as stability is concerned, thanks to the fact that 7files didn't freeze, crash or display error dialogs. It used low CPU and low-to-moderate RAM, so it didn't hamper system performance.On the other hand, we expected richer features from a file manager that claims to offer an improved browsing experience overall.
