This software solution is ready to be deployed right out of the box since it doesn't require installation, so it can be easily run from a portable storage device onto any computer.The interface was designed with practicality in mind since it doesn't feature any eye-candy elements, only the buttons that are necessary to execute the commands for the supported tests. When the application is started, it will identify on its own the available disk targets and you will have the possibility to mark those that will be subjected to verification.There are several parameters that can be configured like the maximum disk size (in sectors), the starting disk sector or the test connection rate. In a similar manner, the network targets can be selected and put to the test.Before running any type of assessment it is mandatory to choose at least one global access specification. These can be edited, so in case you want to personalize the process even more, you will be able to do so in a very straightforward fashion.The way in which the results are displayed, as well as the detailed test setup have each their own separate tab inside the main window of Iometer. On the whole, the software servers its purpose well and offers many useful functions, but it is clearly made only for the experienced users.
