4DIAC-IDE is a comprehensive IEC 61499 compatible environment, designed to manage distributed control applications. The tool allows you to deploy the applications you design and customize to the specified distributed field devices.

Reliable development environment

4DIAC-IDE is based on the Eclipse framework and features a neat interface, which enables you to control several aspects of the project you are currently working on.The program allows you to open various perspectives, such as 4DIAC debugging, deployment, Java workspace, Java Browsing, Type Hierarchy, Resources or System parameters. You can also open the Team Synchronizing and Type Management panels.The toolbar at the top of the window displays every newly opened tab or panel so that you can easily switch between them. The program is created as a workspace, in which you can open the dialogs that you need: the console, runtime launcher, download selection or the welcome screen.

Useful application modeling functions

4DIAC-IDE allows you to build any application by interconnecting certain function blocks in terms of a function block network. You may add the hardware structure to the program configuration, to facilitate its deployment on the desired platforms or devices.Some of 4DIAC-IDE’s notable features are the application editor, which allows you to manage the function blocks or the elements of the type library. You may also work with the hardware and type editors, that deal with the specification and parametrization of these aspects of app development.The distribution editor is related to the deployment function since it determines the available destinations. Other functions include monitoring, debugging and testing the app.

Program deployment according to the standards

All the IEC 61499 standards are applied in the process of validating, testing, debugging or deploying the programs you create. 4DIAC-IDE allows you to define the interconnection between the function blocks as well as between the hardware structure elements.
