Created in Visual Basic, Proxy Verifier is a lightweight and portable application with a pretty self-explanatory name - you can use it to validate proxies to the URLs you want to access.Since installation is not necessary, you can store Proxy Verifier on a USB flash drive or similar storage device and directly run its executable file on any computer.Therefore, the Windows Registry is not updated with new entries (minimizing the risk of Windows crashes), and no files are left behind on the hard drive after removing the program. It also means that you can carry Proxy Verifier in your pocket whenever you're on the move.The interface of the app is based on a standard window with a plain and simple layout. So, you can individually type in URLs to add them to the list, or load a document with a URL list from file (e.g. TXT). Making Proxy Verifier's status active can be done with the simple click of a button.In addition, you can stop the tool's activity or clear the URL list, as well as a view working or non-working URLs through separate tabs; these lists can be saved to a document and stored on the computer.The simple-to-use program has a good response time, includes a Readme file and runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory, so it shouldn't put a strain on the computer's resources. We have not come across any issues during our tests; Proxy Verifier did not hang, crash or display error notifications. Unfortunately, the app has not been updated for a very long time. But, thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, Proxy Verifier can be handled by users with any level of experience.
