TCPForward is a command-line application that gives you the possibility to forward TCP connections to a remote server and port. This comes in handy for common deployment scenarios. Administrative rights are required.

How it works

The usage is TCPForward.exe local_port remote_server remote_port, and there's also an example available. Because it needs access to the Internet, you may be prompted by your firewall to allow the program to communicate on private and public networks. It doesn't show a confirmation message at the end of the task to let you know if it was successful or not.

Portable command-line tool

Evaluation and conclusion

It remained stable throughout its entire runtime in our evaluation, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt error messages. As we expected, it left a small footprint on system resources, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly.Too bad that it hasn't been updated for a long time. TCPForward has a light and straightforward set of options for forwarding TCP connections to remote servers.
