Comm Operator NCD Edition is a simplified version of Comm Operator, a communication software for serial port, TCP/IP,UDP, HTTP and FTDI. The NCD edition specializes in interpreting commands and syntax for National Control Devices relay boards.

Relay board manager

The software features a specific message panel, suitable for NCD relay boards and it is capable of detecting all communication ports available on your system. The software does not make a difference between real COM ports on the motherboard, or on supplementary input or output boards. It can even detect virtual COM ports created by special drivers.You can use the software to open a certain connection and monitor the flow of messages transferred back and forth through the correspondent COM port. Comm Operator NCD Edition supports transfer speed ranging from 110 to 921600.

Data set monitor and editor

The software displays a list of sent and received data, containing the name of the data set, its content, comments as well as the message format. The software supports input decimal format, which is required by the relay controller boards of NCD.You may sort the message rows higher or lower on the list, depending on priority or importance. Other than that, you may add or delete data sets, as well as edit their name, content or comments.You may view the messages log containing sent or received data, as well as save the settings to a log file and load them in a future session. Additionally, you may copy the contents of the log file to clipboard or clear all fields with one click.
