It can used by individuals of any experience level.The interface of the application is based on a standard window with an uncomplicated layout; you can get started by establishing the output filename and directory for the new Logon Script Creator file (LSS format).Logon Script Creator supports three key features - drive mapping, printer mapping and automatic command runs. So, you can enter the printer path or drive letter you want to map to, write the server and share name (UNC path), create groups, set a printer mapping as default, as well as enter a command to execute.Additionally, the program allows you to synchronize the workstations' clock with a user-defined server, encrypt scripts (by the administrator only), hide scripts messages and remove current mappings from the list. Scripts may be reset to their factory values.This type of software is useful when you want to copy and paste a script onto multiple computers (e.g. a large office network that requires secured information), instead of creating the project from scratch every time; these scripts are automatically executed when the user logs into the workstation.The software application runs on a low amount of CPU and system memory, so it's not a burden on your computer's resources. We have not come across any problems in our testing, as Logon Script Creator did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all, this tool integrates some essential features for quickly creating logon scripts for your computers and can be handled by novices with ease. On the downside, Logon Script Creator has not been updated for a very long time.
