Loading a file into the workspace is done by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" function. WinMD5 automatically calculates and displays the items's hash, along with the size (in bytes) and status.Furthermore, you can open a secondary file (MD5SUM or MD5 format) and compare the hashes, save a file to the MD5 format (with or without directory information), copy the hash to the Clipboard, as well as make the frame stay on top of other windows.The straightforward program is low-demanding when it comes to the system resources, since it barely uses CPU and system memory.
