What is wkill?
wkill : Select an opened window and terminate the corresponding process instantly with this tiny and easy to use application which requires no installation
In depth
A closer look at wkill
Every application or game running on a computer has an associated process by which the operating system can track it, and close if not responding. Most process operations are handled from the Windows Task Manager, but for a more faster approach, wkill makes it possible to close the process tree of any window on the desktop. One advantage in particular allows it to be easily carried around on a thumb drive, requiring no installation in order to function. Although it completely kills a running process, the target Pc’s stability is not affected, because no changes are made to system registry entries during use. As soon as the application is launched, the cursor turns into a crosshair. It is used to point out at the window to terminate, which comes in handy for killing any applications, or video games which cease to respond, and use up a lot of resources, or even worse, do actual damage to your system.
