DiskPatch is a DOS application that can help you find a solution to various problems that might affect the functioning of your hard disk.It addresses issues related to the MBR sector, partitions or the boot sector, while also allowing surface testing and disk wiping operations. Its ultimate goal is to provide you with a way to recover data you lost due to the corruption of disk structures.The installation package includes two other setup files that enable you to create a bootable floppy or USB disk that can be used for running DiskPatch, all with the help of comprehensive wizards, ready to guide you throughout the entire operation. The reason for this is that a damaged hard disk might result in the failure of the operating system starting procedure, so it would be unwise to have the recovery tool running from Windows.When the computer starts, just set it to boot from the self-starting device, which enables you to view DiskPatch's interface. The application is configured to scan the selected disk and automatically solve common problems, requiring minimum feedback from the user. It can repair bad sectors, identify and log reading and writing errors.
