No installation required

Since this is a portable program, you can save the executable file to any part of the hard disk and just click it to run. Another possibility is to save Web Cam Time Lapse to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.Worth mentioning is that the tool does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, thus leaving no traces behind after removing it.

The GUI does not contain any visually attractive elements but it is simple to navigate, since it consists of a classical window split into two panes for selecting projects and viewing log details, respectively.

Apart from the fact that you can remove projects from the list, there are no other notable options available here.

Evaluation and conclusion

Web Cam Time Lapse has a good response time to commands and it is very prompt when it comes to downloading pictures. It did not hang, crash or pop up error messages in our tests. However, we have noticed that it does not support specific types of photos, downloading empty files instead. We must also keep in mind that the tool has not been updated for a long time.
