The Internet offers a whole array of applications that you could use in order to go online and check out all sort of content. One of them is Barbus.It's a neat software solution that helps you browse the Internet easily and comes with the option to download entire web pages. However, it has very few features and it's missing some essential tools.

Simple and lightweight graphical interface

The application installs quickly and it sports a really intuitive and clean graphical interface with lots of neat tools and features at hand. The layout is quite different compared to that of other Internet browsers, the search bar is at the bottom of the window compared to the top.Unlike, other popular browsers, Barbus doesn't come with any additional skins or changes that you could make to the application's interface.

Browse the Internet seamlessly

You simply need to type the URL in the search bar at the bottom of the screen in order to open a web page. It allows you to stop or refresh pages easily.It also comes with the option to download entire web pages, simply type in the URL and the file name or path where you would like to store the information. It comes with a back button for opening previous pages, but it doesn't allow you to navigate through multiple links using tabs.

A few more tools

It has an options menu, but it only displays the history of your Internet browsing activity, without the option to delete visited links. It doesn't have an incognito mode and it lacks the option to bookmark pages that you would like to visit more often.It also doesn't come with a search bar for finding words in page or the option to install addons. All in all, Barbus is a very simple and basic application for browsing the Internet and downloading some pages. It definitely needs some more tools and features.
