SewWrite is an embroidery lettering application that facilitates a user-friendly interface for helping you create and design monograms. It contains a wide range of diacritical marks that can be easily inserted into the project.

Following a fast setup operation that shouldn't give you any trouble, you're welcomed by a simple interface that resembles a common editor, where the canvas is initially empty. Using your keyboard, you can type or paste text while exploring the extensive array of diacritical marks displayed in a vertical toolbar on the right.For example, you can apply grave or acute accents, overline, umlaut, dot above, vertical list, simple or turned comma, sharp s, dot below, cedilla, bridge or square below effects. Standard text formatting options are available, so you can set the font style, size, distance between lines, along with bold, italic and underline effects.

Customize basic text formatting options

You can also use subscript and superscript, change the text color, set the text alignment, as well as create bullet lists and explore the character map to insert various symbols. A grid can be displayed to help you with the design, while the measurement unit can be selected between the metrical and imperial system.The horizontal and vertical rulers can be effortlessly calibrated. Also, if you have an embroidery editor that you frequently use, it can be selected for SewWrite. Embroidery files can be saved with the .dst, .exp, .hus, .jef, .pes, .vip, .vp3 or .xxx fomat. Before doing so, you might be interested in editing stitch properties when it comes to the fill density, outline style, along with satin density and width.
