SFML Calculator : Basic calculator with a colorful interface and big buttons to help you make additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisions
SFML Calculator is a simple Windows calculator that offers support for standard math operations. The software project was developed using C++ and SFML (Simple and Fast Multimedia Library).
Doesn't require setup
Installing the program isn't necessary, since you can save the downloaded files anywhere on the disk and just double-click the executable to launch the application. Also, you can keep SFML Calculator stored on a USB flash drive and seamlessly run it on any PC.The source code is also included in the package and can be studied by programmers or those who've just started learning to code.
Colorful GUI with big buttons
As far as the interface is concerned, SFML Calculator has a colorful window with large buttons that are hard to miss. Commands can be sent by either clicking the corresponding keys or by using the linear keys on your keyboard. Our tests have shown that number pad (numpad) isn't supported.
Basic math functions and operators
It's possible to perform addition, multiplication, division and subtraction, use the decimal point, as well as set positive and negative numbers. The sign of the current number is displayed in the left side of the output pane.Worth mentioning is that you must always click the clear button ("C") after calculating an equation ("="), since it doesn't get reset automatically. Furthermore, equations are not fully shown in the output pane, because the current number disappears as soon as you enter a new one.
Elementary calculator with an accessible GUI
All things considered, SFML Calculator proves to be a simple math calculator that can help you determine standard expressions when Windows Notepad isn't working. It had minimal impact on computer performance in our tests. However, it doesn't bring any interesting features to the table, which would have made it more attractive, such as trigonometry or other advanced features.
