Wordsearch Maker Junior is a user-friendly piece of software aimed at teachers and parents who wish to occupy their children's time with educational games, that can enrich their knowledge and improve their reading abilities.The program is quite easy to use, enabling users to create, save and print the games, which they can later offer to children to play with.When launching Wordsearch Maker Junior, users can choose between uppercase and lowercase word searches, whichever they prefer. It features eight by eight squares, meaning that the used terms can have 8 characters at most.In order to start adding the letters onto the board, users can move the right square to where they want the word to begin.To make it stay on the preferred location, they need to left-click it, which will cause the square to turn green. Similarly, in order to choose the direction that letters will take in forming the word, users can right-click on the square and settle on any of the available options: left, right, upward, downward or diagonally (in any of the 4 corners).After choosing the proper location, users can begin to type in the word, and its letters will automatically occupy one square each on the board. When the list of nine words is completed, users can choose to fill in the blank spaces with random letters, making the game more challenging.Each newly generated game can be saved to the users' computer or printed so children can find it easier to play them, with crayons or pencils.
