PlusPro : Slim calculator with easy input for different operators and history tracker to save the log of all expressions through an intuitive design
A computer can greatly help you out with math operations being able to handle complex expressions in the blink of an eye with high accuracy. If you’re looking for a lightweight calculator to carry around, PlusPro comes with just the right means, and a history tracker to save the entire list of operations.
Lightweight and easy to use
The application comes in a lightweight package, which only takes a little while to get deployed on your computer. However, for everything to work out fine, you need to be sure that .NET Framework is installed on the PC you want to use it on.As far as the visual design is concerned, it sports a simple interface, with a large area representing the history tracker, and a dedicated input field. However, there’s no numerical keypad so input needs to be done from the keyboard. On the other hand, there is a basic input panel to bring up which is fitted with several operators, but no numbers.
Decent set of operators
Although the application isn’t quite handy for advanced operations, it does support a few more than basic operators, such as power, abs, time, square root, and a few more, including combined operations through parenthesis.Writing input needs to be completely done in the dedicated field, and you must write down the entire expression, including all operators. Result is displayed at the press of a button on two rows to show input and output. History of activity is saved, but be sure to use the context menu option to copy values, because regular hotkey commands for the copy operation clear everything instead.
In conclusion
On an ending note, PlusPro is a practical application which can save all operations so you later on insert them wherever needed. Input is done mostly through the keyboard, while operation support is decent. Sadly, result can’t be saved to file directly, but there is the possibility to send it to clipboard.
