In depth
A closer look at J2SPrint 1.0
J2SPrint: add automatic printing of image files to your workflow. J2SPrint automatically prints picture files along with their associated IPTC information. The process can be triggered manually by dragging and dropping a selection of files onto its icon for example. J2SPrint can also operate in batch mode: it scans a source folder at regular intervals and prints the documents that are dropped inside the source folder. J2SPrint fits the image into the print layout and extracts IPTC information before sending the information to the printer. On MacOS X, J2SPrint can alternately print on up to 10 different printers. Depending on the settings, J2SPrint can move printed files to a target folder or simply delete them. J2SPrint can be asked to change the file modification date to the time the file was printed. Lastly, a log file lists all information processed by J2SPrint. J2SPrint supports all file formats supported by QuickTime. File formats which support IPTC data are JPEG, TIF, PSD, EPSF, native IPTC.
