is an inventive mix of traditional 13-tile MahJong, spell casting, and strategic land combat. The Rune Wars began in the year 3016. A mutually beneficial agreement was reached, putting an end to the malicious fighting amongst the clans: Maitha, Kartha, Iz, Marz, which inhabit the Isle of Four Winds. The Rune War, which occurs every 25 years, offers each clan the opportunity to acquire land and resources to stimulate the growth of magic.
We are currently in the 17th cycle of the Rune War, year 3416. A stalemate in the last event has spread each clan evenly throughout the island giving no clan a distinct advantage over the others. Mercenary magicers and wizards have been training furiously to hone their skills. For the first time, the future of the island looks very unclear. Choose your wizard and your clan and let the runes fall where they may.
