Esoteria
is a third-person perspective, 3-D, action/adventure game in which your mission is to eliminate the Crimson Guard.You control a highly intelligent, genetically engineered fighting unit named Raven, equipped with an ARC generator strapped to your forearm and a variety of weapons. The Crimson Guard is located at the main entrance to the military base, and is heavily guarded. A data file on Crimson and a map of the base is included. There are 10 items placed about the base to help you eliminate your target. Many of the items are hidden in hard to reach places. Use the map to help you navigate through the base and find the items. Your performance will be determined by how many of the items you can find before you eliminate Crimson.
All of the environments and structures in Esoteria (which include cities, forests, deserts, and aquatic areas), are fully modeled 3-D structures. Unlike many other 3-D games, Esoteria is one huge world just waiting to be explored, instead of a succession of small areas or levels. This allows for completely non-linear gameplay. A dynamic camera gives you complete control. The third person perspective allows for control over character movements such as dodging and jumping, and for shooting in one direction while moving in another. Interactive backgrounds, lots of animated textures, sophisticated enemy AI, real world physics, and a revolutionary interactive soundtrack add an element of realism to Esoteria.
