mindnode is an easy-to-use application for mac that, in its free version, enables you to create basic mind maps, the kind that don't require connections between nodes on different branches. In mindnode it's quite easy to create a new node. There is a plus sign next to each node clicking it will attach a new node to the first node. It is possible to outline as many mind maps as you like on the drawing board of mindnode039. For nodes there aren't any restrictions either. You can then export your mind maps in various formats including pdf png tiff opml html and rtf.
