Golazo Far corner. One thumb.

A full eleven-a-side football match built around movement, passing and spectacular finishing. Sixteen clubs, a knockout cup, and the pressure of penalties when it won't be settled any other way.

Two editions: a free offline soccer game for Android, and a paid ad-free edition for Windows on Steam.

The trailer

Sixty seconds of it

Real gameplay, no cutscenes. This is what a match actually looks like on a phone.

Gameplay captured on a Samsung Galaxy device

Two editions

Same football. Two ways to play it.

Golazo ships as two separate products, each built for its platform. The football underneath is identical — the controls, the pricing and the extras are not.

Coming soon to Steam

In both editions: full 11-v-11 arcade football, 16 fictional clubs with their own crests, kits and squads, Quick Match and the 16-team knockout Cup, extra time and penalty shootouts you aim yourself, the Auto-Finish system, and spectacular finishing — headers, volleys, bicycle kicks, scissor kicks, turning finishes, long-range strikes and far-corner shots.

The finishing

Every shot reads the keeper

Most phone football games send the ball wherever your thumb happened to be. Golazo looks at where the goalkeeper is standing and finishes away from him — using a real shooting animation, not a scripted cutscene.

Keeper on the near side → ball goes far
  • The keeper's position is read live. Not a fixed target — wherever he commits, the shot goes the other way.
  • Covered side. The half he's already protecting. Shooting here is how you get saved.
  • Far corner. Where the shot is placed when the context qualifies — the goal that gives the game its name.

Press shoot inside the box and you get a genuine strike animation with placement applied on top. Get on the end of a cross and the game picks the finish that fits the ball — bicycle, scissor or diving header — without you timing a button to the frame.

The football

Fast, accessible, and still real football.

Nothing here is dumbed down — it's a full-pitch simulation underneath. What's been removed is the menu-diving and the finger gymnastics. This is the game in both editions.

Defending without the juggling

When the other side has the ball, control moves to the defender who can actually reach it. He sprints and closes down on his own. You can still switch manually whenever you want.

Passing that finds a player

Ground passes weigh up who's genuinely available instead of firing at the nearest shirt. Lofted balls go to the receiver you meant, so a planned first-time finish is actually plannable.

A cup worth winning

Sixteen clubs, straight knockout, extra time and penalties when it's level. Win it and you get the full trophy presentation, then the draw resets and you go again.

Difficulty that changes the football

Easy, Medium and Pro adjust how forgiving the match is and how hard the opposition plays — not how awkward the controls are. The touchscreen help stays on at every level.

A camera you can read

Pulled in close so players and the ball are legible on a phone screen, not a distant top-down view where everyone is six pixels tall.

Bring your own controller

Pair a Bluetooth gamepad or plug in a USB or USB-C controller and play with sticks and buttons. Touch and gamepad both work — switch whenever you like.

Keep the goal

Every goal is replayed and can be saved or shared, with slow motion so the volley reads properly. The good ones are worth showing someone.

You take the penalties

Level after extra time and it goes to spot kicks — aimed and struck by you, not resolved by a dice roll. Full-time statistics after every match.

Works with no signal

Nothing is streamed and there's no login. Put it on a plane, a metro or a patchy connection and every mode plays exactly the same as it does at home.

Questions

Questions people ask

Does Golazo work offline?

Yes. Every mode — Quick Match and the full 16-team Cup — runs with no internet and no wifi at all. Nothing is streamed and no login is required. Only the optional rewarded ads need a connection.

How much does Golazo cost?

The Android edition on Galaxy Store is free to download and supported by ads. The Windows edition coming to Steam is a single paid purchase with no ads, no coins and no in-app purchases. Both editions contain the same football — all 16 clubs, both modes and every difficulty level are available from the start.

Is this real eleven-a-side football or a mini-game?

Full eleven-a-side on a full pitch, with AI teammates and opponents that hold positions and make football decisions. It isn't a penalty shootout or a one-button runner.

How hard is it to control on a touchscreen?

Movement is on the left stick and there are four action buttons: Pass, Long, Shoot and Switch. Sprinting and pressing happen automatically when you're defending, so you never hold three things at once. Manual switching stays available throughout.

What's the difference between the Android and PC editions?

The football is identical — same 16 clubs, same Cup, same finishing system. What differs is the platform. Android is free, ad-supported, built for one-thumb touch play and runs fully offline. PC is a single paid purchase with no ads or coins at all, played on keyboard or gamepad. They are two separate products on two separate stores; buying one doesn't give you the other.

Does the PC version have ads?

No. The Windows edition on Steam has no advertising, no rewarded video and no coin system of any kind. You buy it once and that's the whole transaction.

Can I use a Bluetooth or USB controller?

Yes. Pair a compatible Bluetooth gamepad in your Android settings, or connect a USB or USB-C controller, then launch the game. If it isn't picked up, reconnect it, check Android recognises it, and restart Golazo.

Can I save and share my goals?

Yes. Goals are replayed after they go in, with slow motion, and supported clips can be saved or shared straight from the replay screen.

Which teams and players are in the game?

Sixteen original clubs with 288 original players, all created for Golazo. No real-world clubs, kits or footballers are included or implied.

Will there be a PC version?

Yes. A Windows edition is in development and will come to Steam as a paid, ad-free release with keyboard and gamepad support. The Android edition comes first.

Which Android devices are supported?

64-bit Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 or newer. It's built and tested on Samsung Galaxy hardware across low, mid and high-end devices.
