You can choose to race from among ten hand-crafted race-tracks, from the splendid English-country-estate style 'Branton Park' circuit to the fiendishly difficult American-desert style 'Navaho' raceway. While the game's Quick Race mode provides rapid access to several different vehicles and tracks, Career Mode offers a long-term challenge to the ambitious pilot.
You can set independent variables such as track/texture resolution, environment mapping, particle effects, skidmarks, shadows, lights, sky detail and more. There is a heads-up display featuring a unique TV-broadcast style "picture-in-picture" facility for monitoring other vehicles whilst racing. Extensive race statistics are delivered via race-order, pitboard, track-map and other screen overlays. There is also a replay feature with VCR-style advance, rewind, and slow-motion facilities.
