However, after a few minutes into the game you’ll see that although that is the core assumption, there’s a lot more to it than meets that initial eye. I Remember This Dream is built using Unreal Engine 4 and with a little bit of a computer you can enjoy that to great effect. However, visual quality doesn’t lie in how each object looks but rather on how it all fits together. On their own, the trees could have been much better but looking at the forest in its vastness, you won’t have anything to complain about. Moreover, there’s (probably) a reason for why the trees are how they are. As the night creeps closer, the trees in the distance seem to lose their shape; some appear out of nowhere their contour gets indistinguishable and all of that makes you feel as if the forest is changing as you walk through it.
