Cinematograph displays MPEG, AVI and QuickTime movies (MPG, DAT, AVI, ASF, WMV, MOV, and QT formats) on a black background, so no other pictures or windows disturb your movies. You get standard transport controls (including play, pause, stop, and more), on-the-fly resizing options, and the ability to view movies in "widescreen" format (16:9 aspect ratio).

The program's "autosearch" feature scans your hard disks and CDs for supported movies. You can then store different size, rating, and alias name settings for each movie. Parental control options let you specify folders and CDs that are permissible for your children to view.
