Overview
What is NT Service Monitor?
is a system administration tool designed to monitor NT services on Windows NT servers in your domain, and optionally restart them if they have stopped.
In depth
A closer look at NT Service Monitor
For each NT server in your domain, you choose which services to watch. When one of the tracked services has any kind of fault, NT Service Monitor alerts you with a red message on your screen. If enabled and configured, it also sends an e-mail message to the designated e-mail address, and/or automatically restarts the service. The program stores its output in the Application/Event Viewer log of the client machine, and maintains an HTML page to allow remote supervision. You can set the interval for checking the selected services to any value between 1 and 60 minutes.
