Cryptography allows you to encrypt and "lock" up your information. It also allows you to digitally sign files and data. Its also the technology used in secure communications between machines on the Web.

LockNuts includes Visual Basic 6 demo code. This includes demo programs of how to create: secure e-mail programs, secure Winsock and CGI communications, and secure files. It also includes explanations of the various encryption tools.

There are no restrictions on keys and LockNuts does not use the Microsoft security frame work. LockNuts is a COM library, and runs on most Microsoft packages.
