Anahtar v4.0
is a software protection program that generates a key disk which is readable only by your program.Anahtar embeds a password into a diskette, which only the programmer can detect. If the password is not made available when called for, the program ends.
The key diskette generated by Anahtar: cannot be destroyed by the format command; cannot be copied by known methods; still reads and writes files even after formatting; does not contain bad sectors; retains a capacity of 1.44Mb; works even when its zero track is bad; and can be deleted at any time by the programmer.
Each disk contains a password described by the programmer. This is diskette specific, but not program specific. The key disk can be coded for an individual user as well as the specific program. Thus, two different disks for the same program are not interchangeable. The program only works in response to the user's unique disk.
