is a graphical, flowscheme-based, multi-period simulation and scheduling tool, useful for planning bulk material processing operations.
These types of operations are typically found in the oil and chemical industries.
The program allows you to model and simulate the processing of materials over one or more time intervals.
You can design a model of your process using the principal elements offered: tanks act as material stores; processors combine, split, or alter materials; and streams transport material from one tank or processor to another, or into or out of the model.
Process Planner also enables you to assign attributes or qualities to the material, which can be altered through combination with other materials, or by processing.
You can view the effect of your modelling in spreadsheets, graphs, and reports, which can be easily customized.
In addition, the program uses Microsoft's ActiveX technology to expose objects to the VBScript scripting language, letting you control the mathematics of the model as closely as you need.
