A closer look at OwlView 1.2
OwlView is a simple thematic mapping application that can combine data exported from a spreadsheet or database with geographic boundaries to produce maps that visually display patterns of spatial distribution within the data. It includes four classification methods (Equal Counts, Equal Ranges, Natural Breaks and Custom), specifiable category count, ten color schemes, and modifiable legends.
When downloaded, OwlView is unregistered. It is fully functional but limited to producing maps of no more than 15 locations (ZIP codes, towns, census tracts, etc). To produce larger maps, you must purchase a registration key which will remove the 15 location limit.
