is an effective way to locate, view, edit, print and organize your image, metafile, font and multimedia files.
ThumbsPlus displays small images, or thumbnails, of each file. You can use it to browse, view, edit, crop, launch external editors, and copy images to the clipboard. You can use drag-and-drop to organize graphics files by moving them to appropriate directories. ThumbsPlus will also create a slide show from selected graphics, create Web pages consisting of thumbnail images, and install bitmap files as Windows wallpaper. You can print individual graphics files, or the thumbnails themselves as a catalog.
If you have a lot of graphics files, you may want to organize them into separate databases. There are several options you can set for each database, including the size of the thumbnails and their color depth (32 gray levels, 236-color palette, or 15-bit high color). You can add comments to each image in the database. You can also assign a keyword to a selected file or to multiple selected files. You can search for images using the keywords. You can also have ThumbsPlus automatically assign some keywords based on file type, file name, and file color characteristics.
ThumbsPlus can convert between several image format types, either one at a time or in batch mode. You can also perform image editing in batch mode. ThumbsPlus handles almost all graphics image formats.
You can also use Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) to create thumbnails and view any proprietary file type for which the server application is loaded on your system (such as BMF, CDR, DOC, DRW, DS4, MGX, and PPT format).
Other features include: ODBC database suport, digital image watermarking, multiple monitor support, user-defined fields, and the ability to overlay images on top of other images.
