Overview
Restore the famous Dogcow to some system resources.
In depth
Please read the ReadMe included in the download before using the installer.
ClarusX Release 2 is a Mac OS X hack to replace the page setup dialog icons (aka "boring guy") found in Mac OS X with that classic Macintosh icon, Clarus the Dogcow. No, I'm not the designer of the original dogcow, but I am responsible for the 55+ hours of digging through system resources, image tweaking, hacking, script writing, testing, fixing, upgrading, and ultimately supporting this package. ClarusX is PostcardWare. If enjoy ClarusX and would like to continue using it, receive technical support, and notice of future updates and enhancements, you can register your copy by sending me a wacky picture, photograph, or postcard, along with your name and e-mail address to:
Roby Sherman 901 E. 10th Ave, Denver, Colorado 80218
No electronic PostcardWare, please! Your continued moral support will help to ensure that ClarusX is revised for future Mac OS X releases (like this one). As an extra way of saying thank you, each registered user will receive (via e-mail) a free dogcow background image for their Mac, created by Vincent Wilkie, plus a bonus icon set by Pierre-Alain Dorange for use with ClarusX.
